Phases of INTERNAL COMMUNICATION

one:

DOCUMENTATION

In this phase we will see a series of documents that will allow us to obtain data before setting the objectives. Documents such as the employee performance evaluation report, the internal climate study, the visual identity standards manual or the company's strategic plan.

.

In short, we will collect all the possible documentation that we will analyze in the next phase.

three:

FORMULATION OF OBJECTIVES

In this phase we need to formulate precisely what we want to achieve with this plan. We will have to go from the general to the specific.

Our objectives must be SMART, that is, they must be specific, measurable, achievable, realistic and can be met in a certain period of time.

We must also divide them into quantitative, which will be those that give us results in numbers and percentages and qualitative objectives that will be the ones that will work on the positioning of our brand.

five:

COMMUNICATION PROCESS

All members of the organization must know the actions and their objectives.

.

Therefore, we must define how we are going to communicate it. It can be useful to define those responsible for each process and how they will inform the rest of those involved.

two:

ANALYSIS AND REFLECTION

All documents and data obtained in the previous phase will be analyzed without forgetting to evaluate the starting point of the current state of internal communication.

.

In addition, we will analyze and reflect on the work environment, culture, involvement of the Management, leadership in the organization, training, etc.

.

Undoubtedly, another important challenge to carry out in this phase will be to establish channels of knowledge and involvement of all in the new plan.

four:

STRATEGIC PLAN

Once the objectives have been formulated, we must establish the necessary actions to reach their achievement.

.

Here it will be necessary to define calendars, actions, times, managers, etc. In other words, we have to develop the Communication Plan for our company.

.

I invite you to review the post where I speak on this point. Here I leave the link.

six:

MEASUREMENT AND CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT

Without measurement there is no improvement or evaluation. We must measure throughout the process and establish the appropriate changes to improve results.

Prior to this phase we will have defined what to measure and the indicators that will give us the data we need.

.

Once we know the different phases of an internal communication plan, we must assess the importance of starting it up in the company and implementing it. This will involve work in each of these phases but, without a doubt, the benefits will be considerable in the organization. If we consider that communication is something that is usually valued as an aspect that can be improved by collaborators and workers, we will bear in mind that we have a long way to go and that it is a point that ends up distinguishing the best current organizations. Communication exists and if we do not focus efforts so that it is as it should be through a good internal communication plan, it will end up appearing in other worse ways that we cannot control.
